In this article, we’ll see how to integrate SendInBlue into Retainful.

You can integrate Sendinblue into your Retainful account to automatically transfer the email addresses captured by Retainful into your Sendinblue list.

Note: This integration feature is exclusively available for all our paid customers.

Things you need before integrating,

1. Sendinblue account

2. A mailing list in Sendinblue

Integrating with Sendinblue

Navigate to your Retainful dashboard -> Integrations -> SendInblue

Click ‘Connect’, this will prompt a menu, where you’ve to enter the API key.

Step 2: You have to enter the API key in the following menu.

Enter the SendInBlue API Key and click Connect.

3. You can click ‘Find your credentials here’ which will redirect you to SendInBlue, where you can retrieve your Key.

After successfully integrating Retainful with SendInBlue, you can start setting up automation to engage with your customers. Follow these steps:

Step 3: Set Up Automation Blocks

1. Navigate to the Automation section in Retainful.

2. Choose any of the automation you want to integrate with SenInBlue to add customers to your SendInBlue, then click Edit Flow.

3. It will take you to the automation workflow.

Select Add Block after the first email and choose Integration. Although you can set the integration at any stage, we recommend doing it after the first email.

Here’s why: If the block is added post-trigger, all customers, including those who might recover their carts within an hour, are added to the list. So, placing the block after the first email ensures that even customers who’ve still abandoned their carts will get into the list.

4. Click on the Integration block and choose SendInBlue to configure.

5. Select the SendInBlue list where you want to add your customers.

6. Click Save to apply the changes.

Note: Only one list can be added per block. If you need to add another list, you will need to create another block and add the list there.

That’s it, you’re done, you’ve successfully integrated Retainful with your SendInBlue account.
