Connecting Retainful with KIt

By integrating ConvertKit, you can automatically transfer email addresses captured on Retainful to your ConvertKit lists.

#### Things You Need Before Integrating ConvertKit

Before integrating ConvertKit with Retainful, make sure you have the following:

* [x] **A ConvertKit Account**\
  You will need an active ConvertKit account to complete the integration.
* [x] **A List in ConvertKit**\
  Ensure you have a list created in ConvertKit where you want to sync your email addresses.

## Step 1: Log in to Your ConvertKit Account

Go to the ConvertKit website and log in to your account.

## Step 2: Copy Your ConvertKit API Key

1. In the top right corner, click your profile icon and select "**Account**”.
2. Choose the "**Settings**" option.

3. Scroll to the last option—Choose Developer Option.&#x20;

4. Copy the API Key displayed under the "**API Key**" section.

## Step 3: Log in to your Retainful account & connect ConvertKit.

1. Go to the Retainful dashboard and log in to your account.
2. Go to the "**Integrations**" section in Retainful.

3. Select ConvertKit from the list of available integrations.
4. Paste the API key you copied from ConvertKit into the provided field in Retainful.

5. Click "**Connect**" to link your ConvertKit account with Retainful.

## Step 4: Verify the Connection

Once you have connected ConvertKit, it will appear under the **"Connected Apps"** section in Retainful. This confirms that the integration is successful and ready for use.

You can now proceed to select your mailing list.

## How to Integrate Active Campaign in Automation Workflow

You can easily sync customer data to ConvertKit through your Retainful automation workflow. Follow these steps:

#### Check the Connection

* Make sure ConvertKit is connected to Retainful.
* Go to the **"Integrations"** section in Retainful and check if it appears under **"Connected Apps"**

#### Open the Workflow

* Go to the **"Automation"** section in Retainful.
* Open the workflow where you want to add ConvertKit.

#### Select the List

Choose the ConvertKit list where you want to sync your customers.

#### Save and Activate

Save the workflow and activate it to start syncing customer data automatically.
