Integrating Klaviyo with Retainful allows you to automatically sync email addresses captured in Retainful with your Klaviyo lists.
NOTE This feature is available exclusively for upgraded plans in Retainful.
A Klaviyo Account You will need an active Klaviyo account to complete the integration.
A Mailing List in Klaviyo Ensure you have a mailing list created in Klaviyo where you want to sync your email addresses.
Go to the Klaviyo website and log in to your account.
Click your profile icon in the bottom left corner and select "Account”.
Choose the "Settings" option.
Choose the API Keys option.
Create a New Private API Key
According to your preference Choose Option: Custom Key/Read-Only Key/Full Access Key
Copy the API Key displayed under the "Your Private Key" section.
Go to the Retainful dashboard and log in to your account.
Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful.
Select Klaviyo from the list of available integrations.
Paste the API key you copied from Klaviyo into the provided field in Retainful.
Click "Connect" to link your Klaviyo account with Retainful.
Once you have connected Klaviyo, it will appear under the "Connected Apps" section in Retainful. This confirms that the integration is successful and ready for use.
You can now proceed to select your mailing list.
You can easily sync customer data to Klaviyo through your Retainful automation workflow. Follow these steps:
Make sure Klaviyo is connected to Retainful.
Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful and check if it appears under "Connected Apps"
Go to the "Automation" section in Retainful.
Open the workflow where you want to add Klaviyo
Add a New Block in the automation for sync
NOTE Klaviyo will appear as an option only after successfully connecting it within Retainful.
Choose the Klaviyo list where you want to sync your customers.
Save the workflow and activate it to start syncing customer data automatically.
