Connecting Retainful with Klaviyo

Integrating Klaviyo with Retainful allows you to automatically sync email addresses captured in Retainful with your Klaviyo lists.&#x20;

#### **Things You Need Before Integrating Klaviyo**

Before you integrate ActiveCampaign with Retainful, make sure you have the following:

* [x] **A Klaviyo Account**\
  You will need an active Klaviyo account to complete the integration.
* [x] **A List in Klaviyo**\
  Ensure you have a list created in Klaviyo where you want to sync your email addresses.

## Step 1: Log in to Your Klaviyo Account

* Go to the Klaviyo website and log in to your account.

## Step 2: Copy Your Klaviyo API Key

1. Click your profile icon in the bottom left corner and select "**Account**”.
2. Choose the "**Settings**" option.

3. Choose the API Keys option.&#x20;

4. Create a New Private API Key

5. According to your preference Choose Option: Custom Key/Read-Only Key/Full Access Key

6. Copy the API Key displayed under the "**Your Private Key**" section.

## Step 3: Log in to your Retainful account & connect Klaviyo.

1. Go to the Retainful dashboard and log in to your account.
2. Go to the "**Integrations**" section in Retainful.

3. Select Klaviyo from the list of available integrations.
4. Paste the API key you copied from Klaviyo into the provided field in Retainful.

5. Click "**Connect**" to link your Klaviyo account with Retainful.

## Step 4: Verify the Connection

Once you have connected Klaviyo, it will appear under the **"Connected Apps"** section in Retainful. This confirms that the integration is successful and ready for use.

You can now proceed to select your list.

## How to Integrate Klaviyo in Automation Workflow

You can easily sync customer data to Klaviyo through your Retainful automation workflow. Follow these steps:

#### Check the Connection

* Make sure Klaviyo is connected to Retainful.
* Go to the **"Integrations"** section in Retainful and check if it appears under **"Connected Apps"**

#### Open the Workflow

* Go to the **"Automation"** section in Retainful.
* Open the workflow where you want to add Klaviyo

#### Select the List

Choose the Klaviyo list where you want to sync your customers.

#### Save and Activate

Save the workflow and activate it to start syncing customer data automatically.
