This guide explains integrating Retainful, an email marketing app, with Mailchimp, a leading email marketing tool. By connecting the two, you can automatically transfer customer data, manage your mailing lists, and streamline your email marketing campaigns effortlessly.
Go to the MailerLite website and log in to your account
Select "Profile”
Choose the "Extras" option > Your API Keys.
Click "Create API Key" > Generate Keys
Provide a name to generate the key
Copy the API key by clicking the "Copy to Clipboard button"
Go to the Retainful dashboard and log in to your account.
Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful.
Select MailChimp from the list of available integrations.
Paste the API key you copied from MailChimp into the provided field in Retainful.
Click "Connect" to link your MailChimp account with Retainful.
Once you have connected MailChimp, it will appear under the "Connected Apps" section in Retainful. This confirms that the integration is successful and ready for use.
You can now proceed to select your mailing list.
You can easily sync customer data to Klaviyo through your Retainful automation workflow. Follow these steps:
Make sure Klaviyo is connected to Retainful.
Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful and check if it appears under "Connected Apps"
Go to the "Automation" section in Retainful.
Open the workflow where you want to add ConvertKit
Add a New Block in the automation for sync
NOTE MailChimp will appear as an option only after successfully connecting it within Retainful.
Choose the MailChimp list where you want to sync your customers.
Save the workflow and activate it to start syncing customer data automatically.
