This guide explains integrating Retainful, an email marketing app, with Mailchimp, a leading email marketing tool. By connecting the two, you can automatically transfer customer data, manage your mailing lists, and streamline your email marketing campaigns effortlessly.

Follow the Steps to Integrate MailChimp to Retainful

Step 1: Login in MailChimp Account

Go to the Mailchimp dashboard

Log in to your MailerLite account.

Step 2: Navigate to MailerLite API Key Section

  1. Select "Profile

  1. Choose the "Extras" option > Your API Keys.

  1. Click "Create API Key" > Generate Keys

  2. Provide a name to generate the key

  1. Copy the API key by clicking the "Copy to Clipboard button"

Step 3: Log in to your Retainful account & connect to MailChimp

  1. Go to the Retainful dashboard and log in to your account.

  2. Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful.

  1. Select MailChimp from the list of available integrations.

  2. Paste the API key you copied from MailChimp into the provided field in Retainful.

Step 4: Verify the Connection

Once you have connected MailChimp, it will appear under the "Connected Apps" section in Retainful. This confirms that the integration is successful and ready for use.

You can now proceed to select your mailing list.

How to Add Mailchimp Integration in Automation Workflow

You can easily sync customer data to Klaviyo through your Retainful automation workflow. Follow these steps:

Check the Connection

  • Make sure Mailchimp is connected to Retainful.

  • Go to the "Integrations" section in Retainful and check if it appears under "Connected Apps"

Open the Workflow

  • Go to the "Automation" section in Retainful.

  • Open the workflow where you want to add Mailchimp.

Edit the Automation

Choose MailChimp

Select the List

Choose the MailChimp list where you want to sync your customers.

Save and Activate
