The "Save as Template" feature in the Retainful email editor allows you to create and store customized email templates efficiently. You can design your template to include your store logo and brand-specific elements, ensuring a cohesive look across all your automation workflows. Once saved, these templates are easily accessible in the email templates library, helping you save time and simplify the setup of automation workflows.
This guide provides detailed steps to create and save an email template in your Retainful email templates library.
Follow the below steps to create an email template and save it,
Login to your Retainful dashboard
Go to ‘Automation’ -> Create Workflow or Edit an existing workflow
In the workflow builder, click on the ‘Email’ block (If you don’t have an email block, just click the ‘+’ icon and add an Email block to the workflow).
4. Click on the ‘Edit Email Content’ button on the right side.
NOTE: When you create and save an abandoned cart recovery email template, it can only be used in abandoned cart recovery workflows. Similarly, a post-purchase email template can only be applied to post-purchase workflows.
Now, you will be redirected to the drag-and-drop email editor.
You can customize the email template as per your preference. Especially, you may want to upload your logo, edit header texts, and insert social media page links in the respective social media icons at the bottom.
You can use images to reflect a specific set of content (such as text or images) across all email templates in your Retainful account. To do this, simply make the desired changes in a single email template, and these changes will be reflected throughout your account.
Once when you are done editing the email template, you can click on the ‘Save as a template’ button on the top to save the template in the library.
When you click on ‘Save as a template’, a widget will appear. You need to enter a name for the email template and click on the ‘Create’ button to save the email template.
Follow these steps to use a saved abandoned cart recovery email template from your Retainful email templates library:
Log in to your Retainful dashboard.
