# Template Manager

In Retainful, the Template Manager allows you to create and save custom email templates that can be reused in your marketing campaigns.

These templates are best suited for manual or campaign-based emails and are not compatible with automation workflows, as they may include dynamic elements like order summary blocks.

## Steps to Create a Template 

**Step 1**: Access Template Manager

In your Retainful dashboard, select Content and switch to the Template Manager tab.\
Click on the Create Template button.

**Step 2**: Select Your Base Template

Click the **Preview** icon to view the base template before selecting it.

Once you have selected your base template, click on the Clone button.<br>

Provide a name for your template and click on Continue to customize your base template.

**Step 3**: Save Your Template

In the email editor, you can customize your base template. Once you have created your template, click on the Save button.

The saved template will be available in the Template Manager.
